Diminutive Carlos Yulo qualified to three apparatus and the all-around finals Monday, Oct. 31 (early Tuesday in Manila) to jumpstart his bid in the 51st FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Liverpool, England.

The 22-year-old Olympian topped his pet event, floor exercise, where he scored 15.266 points.
He finished third in vault with 14.733 and fourth in parallel bars with 15.333 to advance to the Final 8.
His all-around performance of 84.664 ranked him third out of the Top 24 qualifiers following scores in still rings (14.066 at 10th), high bar (13.533 at 31st) and pommel horse (11.666 at 109th).
The all-around finals will be on Friday, Nov. 4, while the individual apparatus finals will be on Saturday, Nov. 5 and Sunday, Nov. 6.
