Yuka Saso fired a closing four-under-par 69 to finish tied at eighth place in the BMW Ladies Championship at the Oak Valley Country Club in South Korea.
The 21-year-old Tokyo Olympian blew hot at the front nine by shooting three birdies, before stumbling at the par-3 12th hole with a double bogey.
But Saso picked up where she left off and blasted an eagle 3 on the 15th to close out her campaign with a 277 total following early rounds of 70, 73 and 65.
She finished 10 shots behind eventual champion Lydia Ko, who torched the course with a 65 to win with a 267 aggregate.
Saso pocketed $47,189 (around P2.7 million) on her second straight Top 10 finish following a runner-up performance at the LPGA Mediheal Championship last week.
The Fil-Japanese, however, is still on the hunt for a follow-up title since winning the US Women’s Open in 2021.
