With the loosening of restrictions regarding entry to the venue, the younger set made their way to the Pasig City facility, some coming from as far as Laoag City, to measure their abilities against others in their own age group in steeplechase, long jump, shot put, 5000m walk, 400m hurdles, 200m run, 4x400m relay, mixed 4×100 relay and pole vault.

Of the pole vault event, world number 3 EJ Obiena, who is scheduled to leave for Italy on Oct. 14 to resume his training, was again on hand at the event to give inspiration to the up-and-coming track and field athletes.

Obiena even brought several pairs of Puma shoes which were given away to the athletes who came up with the correct answers to several trivia questions.

The PATAFA Weekly Relay Series is made possible thru the cooperation and sponsorship of the Philippine Sports Commission, CEL Logistics, Milo, Cignal TV, Wireless Link Technologies, Casio G-Shock, Cellife Cellular Nutrition, Masiv Sports, Dr. J Alcohol, Pencer Q, Chooks-To-Go, Puma and Silver Bullet Productions.
