Onic Philippines continued to impress after pulling off a huge 2-0 upset sweep of Blacklist International, Friday, Aug. 26, at the ICITE Auditorium in Libis, Quezon City.

The Onic PH’s rookie-laden team caught a big fish in the M3 World Champions as Kenneth “nets” Barro set the tone for the stunning rout with a gutsy backdoor play in Game 1 to collect full three points and hand Blacklist its first taste of defeat this season.

Onic PH actually took full control in the early game as Sensui held his own against Wise in retribution battles for the major objectives.

Blacklist though banked on their superb microplays during team fights behind its Rafaela pick and Valentina whose ‘I am you’ ultimate was used to copy Faramis’ Cult Altar, to slowly get back into the game.

It seemed like Blacklist was already on its way to victory after taking out four Onic heroes during a clash for the luminous Lord. Nets, however, with only one minion left in its siege, went for a last-gasp backdoor play to score a 14-19 come-from-behind Game 1 win.

Nets on his Bruno took the MVP honors with a 5-3-3 KDA.

Onic kept a good grasp of the momentum in Game 2 and took a 14-5 win.

Nets ran wild on his Irithel pick and unloaded a neat 9-0-5 KDA while Sensui capped a stellar performance with a perfect 2-0-8 KDA on the jungle Akai.
