Carlos Yulo is expected to receive more than P1.6 million cash incentives for his medal haul at the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

According to Republic Act 10699, a gold medal in the said biennial meet is entitled to a P300,000 cash bonus, while a silver medal is worth P150,000. Bronze medalists will receive P60,000.
Yulo, a two-time world champion, became the most bemedalled Filipino athlete so far in the Games after collecting five gold and two silver medals.
His golds came from individual all-around, still rings, vault, horizontal bar and floor exercise, while his silver medals were won in parallel bar and team event.
His other P150,000 incentive for a silver medal in the team event, however, will be equally divided between him and his teammates as per law.
