Bianca Pagdanganan fired a closing two-under-par 70 to finish tied at 41st place in the LPGA Drive On Championship in Fort Myers, Florida on Saturday.

The Tokyo Olympian had four birdies against two bogeys for a three-round total of 211, 13 strokes behind eventual champion Leona Maguire of Ireland.

Pagdanganan, who had earlier rounds of 70 and 71, appeared flawless by carding three birdies in the first 12 holes before stumbling to a bogey on the par-4 13th and 15th.

She sealed her campaign with a birdie on the 18th.

Pagdanganan’s feat earned her $6,162 (around P300,000).

This was Pagdanganan’s second tournament this year after missing the cut at the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio also in Florida last week.

She is expected to improve her current world rankings at No. 179.

The 54-hole tournament, which offered a $1.5 million total cash purse, saw reigning US Women’s Open champion Yuka Saso missing the cut by only one stroke after finishing the second round with a 144 total.
