The Philippine-based esports organization, which went to a rebuilding mode during the off-season, struggled to find its form as it absorbed another sweep loss this time against MG.Trust.

It was actually the men in black and orange who were leading in the series opener as it held a slight margin early on but MTG had two crucial pick-offs on Lee “X1aOyU” Qian Yu’s Mars and Kim “Febby” Yong-min’s Treant Protector which turned the momentum to the side of the Thais en route to a 36-25 win in Game 1.

Natthaphon “Masaros” Ouanphakdee dictated the tempo on his Pangolier which finished with a 10-2-14 KDA while Poomipat “Gachaboi” Trisiripanit put up a solid outing of 11-5-14 on the Void Spirit.

Yuri Dave “Yowe” PacaƱaon tried to carry the squad on his back using his Storm Spirit but the Thais were just too much in the opener.

MTG continued to roll in Game 2 as it didn’t give TNC any inch to stage a possible comeback. The Thais went on to score another dominant 23-10 victory led by Gachaboi’s 8-2-8 performance on the Queen of Pain.

With the win Motivate.Trust kept its clean 2-0 slate while the rebuilding TNC hopes to crawl back from a 0-2 start.

The PH-based team seeks to find its groove when it takes on fellow winless team Fnatic on Dec. 8. MTG on the other hand will test its mettle against Team SMG which started its campaign with a huge upset against Fnatic earlier in the day.
