Dwight Ramos flirted with a triple-double while Ray Parks nailed six treys as their respective teams picked up victories in B.League on Sunday, Dec. 12.

Ramos unloaded an all-around game of 14 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds as he helped his Toyama Grousers repeat over Kiefer Ravena and the Shiga Lakestars, 95-90, at the Ukaruchan Arena to improve to a 6-12 record.

Kiefer Ravena bounced back from a quiet eight points outing in their first meeting this weeked as he scattered 13 points and five assists. Shiga, however, fell short of its comeback bid once again as the Grousers kept them at bay in the final minutes of the game.

Keijiro Matsui led Toyama with 19 points while Ovi Soko topped all scorers with 20 markers which went for naught as Shiga absorbed its 10th straight loss.

Ray Parks also had a game for himself as he went perfect from the three-point territory to spearhead the attack in Nagoya Diamond Dolphin’s 45 point drubbing of Kyoto Hannaryz, 93-48, at the Kyoto City Gymnasium.

Parks nailed all of his six treys to finish with 20 points as his team swept Kyoto to improve to a 11-7 win-loss slate.

Meanwhile, Thirdy Ravena and his San-En NeoPhoenix faltered in the final minutes of the fourth quarter as the Chiba Jets escaped with an 87-80 victory. Thirdy gave NeoPhoenix the lead, 76-75, with a little over four minutes left in the game but crucial endgame miscues haunted the squad which absorbed its 10th straight defeat.

Ravena finished with 12 points in his second game after the serving his suspension while Robert Carter topscored San-En with 28 markers.

Yuki Togashi starred for the Jets with 26 points.

Kobe Paras suffered the same fate as Niigata Albeirex BB’s woes continue, this time taking a 97-72 beatdown at the hands of the Sun Rockers Shibuya. Paras, likewise, struggled and was a non-factor for Niigata, only mustering two points in 15 minutes of play.

The Sun Rockers used a balance attack led by Josh Harrellson’s 16 points to deal the lowly Niigata its 14th straight defeat.
