Onic Philippines moved one step closer to the Grand Finals after blasting heavy contenders RRQ Hoshi, 3-0, to book the first seat in the upper bracket finals of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang: M3 World Championship at the Suntec Singapore Convention Centre ono Wednesday, Dec. 15.

The Filipinos pulled off a comeback of a lifetime in the series clinching Game 3, surviving three Luminous Lords with only the Onic’s base left standing.
Onic PH banked on its late game heroes anchored on Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol’s Natan, Gerald “Dlarskie” Trinchera’s Esmeralda, and Marky “Markyyy” Capacio’s Harith to complete the momentous come-from-behind 15-15 Game 3 win.
RRQ led all game long and by as much as 8,000 gold after securing all of the major objectives including four Lords. Onic, however, relied on Jaylord “Hatred” Gonzales’ Pharsa to anchor the Filipinos solid base defense and drag the match to the late game where their composition is expected to shine.
Kairi and Markyyy, one-by-one, shredded the HP bars of the RRQ heroes as Onic went for the death push.

Kairi capped the series-long brilliance with a 6-1-6 KDA in Game 3 after taking the MVP honors in the first two games with an 8-0-8 showing on the Lancelot in Game 1 and a 3-2-6 line on the Ling in Game 2.
Onic PH put on a huge statement in the 19-7 Game 1 victory as it shutdown RRQ’ Alberttt on his Roger – the same hero he used to score a savage in the group stage of the tournament.
Kairi worked early, dictating the tempo with a triple kill at the eight-minute mark of the game. He then joined hands with Markyyy on the Harith to secure a wipeout on RRQ at the 10-minute mark as Onic cruised to the victory in the series opener.

RRQ showed why it’s called Kings of Kings in the second game as it took advantage of its Ruby and Lou Yi combo to pick off key players from the PH bets and control the early game.
The PH bets, just like in the series clincher, endured the early game from the Indonesians before it took advantage of crucial RRQ’s crucial miscues to secure the Luminous Lord.
Onic then went on for the GG push in the next few sequences as Hatred on the Chou focused on destroying RRQ’s base to complete a 10-17 come-from-behind win.

Onic will next face the winner between the upper bracket match of EVos SG and BloodthirstyKings while RRQ will take on another Filipino squad Blacklist International.
