Jayson Castro came through with big plays down the stretch as TNT outlasted Alaska, 81-77, to bounce back from losing its opening assignment in the PBA Governors’ Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Castro knocked a pair of clutch shots while forcing a stop on Robbie Herndon’s three-point attempt with the Tropang Giga clinging to an 80-77 lead to secure their first win in the conference.
