Blacklist topped Group A with a perfect 3-0 record after dismantling Bedel, Vivo Keyd and Red Canids while M-series first-timers and NA qualifier winners BTK finished the Group C at the second spot as it only lost to Evos SG and won against See You Soon and Natus Vincere.

It will be a much-anticipated clash between the two regions especially after BTK’s Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun had earlier expressed his confidence that his squad can topple the best teams in the tournament.

“I think we’re gonna beat all of those teams. Thing is I know we are. Can I even lie to myself? I know we’re gonna beat them. I know it, it’s already over. We’re first, they just don’t know it yet,” said Mobazane in one of his streams in November.

In their head-to-head match up, Blacklist leads BTK in all fronts. Blacklist currently ranks fourth in kills with a 46 total and tied at the second spot in most assists with 117. BTK, meanwhile, placed 11th in kills with 35 and 13th in assists with 68.

In terms of objectives the Filipinos hascthe upper hand with eight turtle kills, two Lords slain and 25 turret destroyed against the four turtle kills, two Lord takes and 16 tower pushes of BTK during the group stage.

The winner of their best-of-three affair will face the winner of the clash between Bedel and Evos SG while the loser will be relegated to the lower bracket and will take on the winner of the Onic Indonesia and Team SMG.

On the other hand, Onic Philippines will have RSG Singapore as its opponents in their own upper bracket pairings. Onic emerged as the best team in the ‘Group of Death’ with a 2-1 record after winning against Todak and Vivo Keyd and only losing to Onic ID.

RSG SG meanwhile placed second in Group D with a 2-1 record, only losing to RRQ Hoshi from Indonesia and had won against Team SMG and GX squad.

A tight matchup is expected between the two which had contrasting gameplays.

RSG SG likes to engage in team fights evident in its 49 kills (2nd) and 117 assists (2nd) as compared to the Filipinos’ 37 kills (9th) and 94 assists (6th). Onic PH meanwhile thrives in its objective-centered game with five Lord slains, seven turtles and 25 towers pushed against RSG’s two Lords, five turtles and 18 turrets taken down.
