The Pirates and the Cardinals both scored their second wins at the expense of the University of the Perpetual Help – DALTA while the Generals and the Chiefs kept the San Beda Red Lions winless through three matches.

The Generals put up a masterful performance over the Red Lions, 2-0, in the first match as Kyle Chester Carlos wreaked havoc in the two-game sweep with a perfect 8-0-7 performance on his Hayabusa in Game 1 and an equally impressive showing of 10-1-9 KDA on his Lancelot in Game 2.

EAC never let San Beda reach twin digits in kills in each of the two games, drawing the first blood on a 21-5 score in Game 1 and a 23-9 tally to finish off the Red Lions in Game 2.

San Beda had the chance to bounce back and finally barge into the win column when it took fellow winless team AU Chiefs later in the day.

The Chiefs, however, tamed the Red Lions, 20-10, led by Marlon Espiritu’s 7-1-8 KDA on the Roger in Game 1. With Lars Sunga’s Khufra making the plays, Arellano followed up the rousing Game 1 win with a 21-14 triumph in Game 2 to score a sweep. Sunga unloaded 2-2-13 KDA en route to the Game 2 MVP honors.

On the other hand, Lyceum also made quick work of the Altas, 2-0. LPU neutralized the late game composition of Perpetual which was anchored on the Aldous and Claude picks. Lorenzo Navarro finished with 6-2-8 KDA on his Harley to lead LPU’s early game onslaught and draw the series’ first blood in a 16-14 tally.

It was a tight second game between the two teams although the Pirates once again prevailed after a clutch team fight at the bottom lane to score a wipeout and end the series, 25-13 in Game 2. Shawn Umali starred on his Chang’e with 9-1-9 KDA.

The same trend continued in Mapua’s 2-1 victory over Perpetual. Action went back and forth in Game 1. Mapua finally drew first blood in the series after a high scoring Game 1, 39-28. Joaquin Garcia’s Lunox snowballed and scored 15-5-13 in the 23-minute series opener.

Perpetual refused to go down without a fight as Jasper Cuevas took over in Game 2 using his Lancelot. The Atlas tied the series after a 22-12 Game 2 win and with Cuevas unloading an 11-2-5 stat line. Garcia, however, made sure that the Cardinals will get their second win as he starred on his Alice with an impressive 18-3-7 score. Mapua finished off Perpetual 27-18 in Game 3.
