Marcial and Galarpe became husband and wife in front of numerous prominent guests in a beach wedding ceremony in Batangas.

Philippine Olympic Committee president and Tagaytay City representative Bambol Tolentino was also present at the event.

The Zamboanga native boxer also posted a live video session on his personal Facebook account as guests were seen wearing face masks in formal attire.

The two have been a longtime couple for nine years and it is just high time after Marcial took home the bronze medal from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Japan.

Marcial, who will turn 26 on Friday, Oct. 29, said his house and lot in Tagaytay as well as his other incentives from winning the Tokyo Games would be of huge help for his future family with Galarpe.
