TNT, already assured of the top seed and twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals, played as if something big was still at stake and cruised to a 103-85 win over Alaska Saturday, Sept. 18 in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Don Honorio Ventura State University in Bacolor, Pampanga.

The Tropang Giga showed no letup against the Aces, who a day earlier came back from COVID-19 protocols to stun Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, and finished their elimination round assignment with a league-best 10-1 record.

Alaska dropped to 3-5 in the second game of a back-to-back-to-back.
